To resolve this error, you must provide a valid value for the the said field, as it’s marked as required.

Solution

This error occurred because you were trying to add an email address already present in your account.

To overcome this error, please modify your flow to be like -

 Step 1 -  Trigger

 Step 2 -  Add Search member in mailing list action and use the email address from the incoming record in step 1 and test it.

 Step 3 -  Add a condition - ID = does not exist
 If you don’t find an ID as a result of step 2, it means it is not present and can be used to create a new member in mailing list.

 Step 4 -  Now add the Add member to mailing list step.
